Ingosstrakh paid RUR 6.5 mn to Krymskiy canning plant for flood loss

OIJSC Ingosstrakh paid the indemnity amounted to RUR 6.513 mn to Krymskiy canning plant which suffered the flood damage in the Krasnodar region on the night of 6-7 July 2012.

The company's press service informs that the real estate property of Krymskiy canning plant was insured by OIJSC Ingosstrakh against fire, water damage, burglary, robbery, malicious acts of third party and other perils.

"The whole territory of the plant including office and production buildings was totally submerged by flood on 6-7 July. Water level reached two meters on the certain lots. When water went down the premises was found covered with 2-5 cm layer of silt. Basement in one of the buildings subsided; windows frames fell out", the news says.

LABB LLC adjusting company was invloved to determine the extent of damage and to calculate the amount of loss.  The case was acnowledged as insured one, and Ingosstrakh paid the indemnity in accordance with the policy terms.
