Ingosstrakh indemnified fire loss in Kaliningrad region

Ingosstrakh paid RUR 15.3 mn to indemnify the loss by fire occured on 9 January 2012 in the industrial warehouse building in Kaliningrad region.

The fire resulted in burning down the warehouse building and utilities, walls and roofing bearing structures collapsed. Refrigerator and workshop buildings adjacent to the warehouse was also damaged.

Criminal proceedings was initiated due to the fire according to the RF Criminal Code art.167 p.2 (“intentional destruction of property by arson”).

LABB LLC adjusting company was involved to assess the loss. Upon examination of documents provided by the cilent the case was aknowledged as insured one. Based on analysis of submitted estimates the experts calculated the amount subject to be paid to the insured. Ingosstrakh indemnified the loss in full amount of RUR 15.3 mn.
